Black Country Living Museum

We are all off to the black country Living Museum in Dudley today, hopefully the weather will stay dry (as promised by the forecast.)

The tickets were purchased over the internet and will remain valid for 12 months should we change our minds about a visit today.  The cost works out to be just over £10 each for 3 adults and one child, which I suppose is not too bad, but why not include the parking charge in the ticket cost rather than as added extra which in most cases cannot be avoided.  Charging a separate fee for rides, guide books etc is okay as they, should you not require them, can be avoided.

Having been to the museum several times in the past we know what to expect, i.e. the fair ground, the pub, the sweet shop, school room, the coal mine and the chip shop amongst other things, although this will be the first time we have visited during the school holiday’s, perhaps there will be even more on offer today, we’ll see.
